Local Paganism In Action

“And they left all the commandments of the Lord their God, and made them molten images, even two calves, and made a grove, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served Baal.” II Kings 17:16

This morning, while checking my accumulation of “tweets”, I came across a little item in the electronic edition of Spokane’s Spokesman-Review newspaper entitled: “Peace pilgrimage – March to peace poles a reminder of tolerance”, by Virginia de Leon. You can read it at the following link if you want:

Now, I don’t begrudge anyone who desires to live in peace with everyone else. Scripture itself, instructs us to do just that. “If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.” Romans 12:28. Do not, however, be deceived. Although I’m sure they mean well, these pagan “pilgrimages”, public idolatry, demon worship, and trying to turn this community into a giant ashram grove, will serve to do nothing more than to insure God’s hand of Providential blessing remains far from this land. There will be no real, lasting peace, inner or otherwise, so long as mankind continues to reject the Prince of Peace. There are not “… many paths to God …”; There is only One Way mankind can come to God.

We don’t need to be reminded of our “diversity”, nor does it need to be celebrated. Diversity serves only to enforce a politically-correct racial and religious segregation. Mankind needs to accept the Truth: that God has said we are all the same: Sinful. The Lord Jesus Christ is the only one who can bring “… unity on a local [or any] level.” Once we understand that our “differences” are only superficial, we can step away from this pagan, politically-correct nonsense, hear and believe what God has said, come together in humility, as sinful Mankind, at the foot of the Cross, and find forgiveness and eternal life in resurrection through the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ. Gautama Buddha is dead. Following his philosophy might make you feel better, for awhile, but you won’t be able to maintain it for long. Neither will it insure you a blessed resurrection to eternal life. The Lord Jesus Christ is alive! Through him, you will receive, not only a resurrection to eternal life, but strength for the day, each and every day. You have but to ask.

So, now for another part of this issue. Why, I ask, are some eight public schools, including Regal Elementary, all sporting pagan religious symbols? Does this mean that the government is endorsing this particular establishment of religion and funding it’s practice with tax dollars? When did we in Spokane vote to trash the Constitution and establish paganism, Buddhism, Hinduism, or Catholicism as the official religion of Spokane, Washington? Where is the ACLU on this? Why are they not filing lawsuits against Spokane School District 81? You can rest assured that they would not stand by while Christian or Jewish religious symbols were installed on public school property. Hypocrites!

Now, for you professors out there. Why are your voices so silent? Why do you not take the Good News of God’s answer to the problem of sin to the people in your own community? You’ll pick the pockets of your congregations so you can travel the world over, but you won’t so much as raise even a single finger over the plight of your own neighbors. Are you ashamed of it? Afraid that they’ll call you names? Do you not realize that there’s a terrible judgment ahead for everyone who follows after these pagan false prophets? What about you? Maybe it’s because you only “profess” faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Maybe it’s not real. Maybe you believed a “gospel” that can’t save. Maybe you’d better “Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?” 2Cor 13:5.

This is what the pagans have to look forward to. Don’t be part of it.

“And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.” Rev. 18:1-5.

Get out of that building and talk to your neighbors. Tell them what God has said. Warn them of the judgment that is coming, and how they may escape it.

Why is there so much time elapsed between your posts? It seems to me that if you are serious about it that there is certainly a lot to be said on a regular basis regarding dispensational thoughts, the title of this blog or page or whatever the proper term for this site is.
